Junior Methods – High School

·       -  Joined a classroom for 6 weeks, full school days, where I joined the school community as an assistant instructor in a social studies classroom.

·        - Taught six lessons in U.S. Government classes where I actively engaged with students in the classroom helping students obtain goals needed to meet state standards.

·      -   Embraced myself with the school community, helped students with assignments, built student rapport, interacted with other teachers in the building, and attended school events.

 

Arlington High School| Arlington, OH                                                                          March-April 2023

Sophomore Placement, High School

·       - Joined a classroom for 6 weeks where I actively participated in a social studies classroom for the first 4 periods of the school day, five days a week.

·        -Worked on building rapport with students and helping out with in class duties such as grading work, overseeing tests, and taught two lessons in an Ethics class.

·        -Assisted in administrating tickets for the junior class play. 

 

Teaching-Related Experience

On the Ball Soccer Camp | Findlay, Ohio                                                July 2021, 2022, 2023

Camp Coach

·        -Instructed groups of 15-20 kids on how to properly complete soccer specific physical activities

·       - Mentored children on how to increase their soccer abilities and perform at a higher level

·       - Interacted with children on a daily basis as a coach but also a mentor who they could come up to and ask questions to with also play soccer with.

CLUBS and ACTIVITIES

Kappa Delta Phi| Findlay, OH                                                                                                         

·      -  Volunteered in many different community activities interacting and helping people of different age groups and backgrounds.

·       - Attended different meetings where educational professionals talked about different skills and advice that could be used in my future career.

University of Findlay Law Society | Findlay, OH

·        Communicated and set up visits with various law schools in the state of Ohio.

·        Discussed how we can help out on campus with different issues that students might be facing.

·        Organized and participated in campus wide events run by Law Society.

University of Findlay Men’s Soccer

·        Played two years of Division II collegiate soccer at the University of Findlay.

·        Balanced classes and homework while attending practices, games, meetings, and other team related activities during a full academic year.
